Dr. Mitchell has had experience treating college and professional athletic teams including football, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. He’s also treated skiers and snowboarders while volunteering on the Dartmouth Ski Patrol. Dr. Mitchell also enjoys coaching youth soccer, which he has done for the past three years in Rochester. Throughout Dr. Mitchell’s education he has committed himself to conducting research on many topics. Most recently he’s published research on arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder biomechanics. He also coauthored a book chapter on adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. Dr. Mitchell will continue his commitment to research during his time in Aspen.

Lyndsey holds a degree in kinesiology and has her master’s in physician assistant studies. She has a background in physical therapy, rehabilitation, sports specific training, as well as strength and flexibility training. She was a four year NCAA Division I track and field athlete competing in javelin, heptathlon, and long jump. Her lifelong love of sports, beginning as the younger sister of four college football players, has led her to the specialty of orthopedics and sports medicine. Lyndsey enjoys running, alpine and nordic skiing, mountain and road biking, water skiing, and wakeboarding.
